sabre05 351 Posted December 16, 2013 So. I've only played for 30 minutes like some others. Damn near pitch black and somewhat tense, but not as tense as my first time on the mod. I've noticed that there is input lag from pressing a hotkey (to pull torch out) of about 2-3 seconds. Alphas gonna Alph. Low FPS is to be expected with the alpha and there being no client optimization. However, something I didn't expect was I have jelly mouse. Whereby I turn my mouse, and it takes a while to do the action and complete it. Not a second or two, but it's enough to be noticeable and annoying. I've turned my mouse DPI to max, lowest and everything inbetween, changed the ingame sensitivity and added mouse smoothing. No change. Mouse acceleration is on by default and I can't change it. It made my first zombie encounter all the more difficult. I was fist fighting 2 zombies with 12 FPS and a Jelly mouse. I put up a good fight and eventually bested them. But not before they socked me in the mouth a good few times. This isn't me moaning. Quite the opposite. I know full well what I spent £20 to get into, and I LOVE IT. This is more me getting it out there and seeing if anyone else has the jelly mouse, and if they have fixed it or at least dampened it?
kichilron 8550 Posted December 16, 2013 Go to "Configure" -> "Controls" and turn the slider of "Smoothing" and "Aiming Deadzone" all the way to the left and see if that helps. :)

I'll give it a go tomorrow when I get more time. Thanks for the potential fix!!

sabre05 351 Posted December 17, 2013 Yeah. This helped immensely. So much so I stayed on for another 30 minutes before bed. Looted myself some cuffs a Mosin (No ammo) and an axe. Sidenote, Screwdrivers don't seem to work as melee weapons. I swing, and it misses. Every time.
