Backpack idea

Recommended Posts

So I'm not sure if most of you guys know this or not, but if you have a visible backpack, it counts as part of your torso. Which lead me to this idea.

So, I was thinking, because earlier I got shot while driving, he hit my backpack... So, in a future update or something, my suggestion is, if backpacks are shot, they get holes in them, sometimes causing loot to fall out or be destroyed. But count as super minor chance of protection if you get shot in the back.

That's how it's going to work in Standalone, not sure if it's possible in the mod but if it is would bring the mod closer to SA.

It should make a noise when something falls out, like a rattling as you run.

Then a brushing sound as it slips out and a thump as it hits the ground.

Maybe tearing during the rattling.

Holes could be fixed easily with things rags, duct tape, needle and thread.

One thing disturbs me though...why do you have a backpack on when driving a car and not like in A.C.E. where your ruck is palced in the vehicle cargo space and you have to pick it up when you exit the vehicle?
