"Protips" - Carrying more than one weapon

Using the 1.8.0.3 "carry a hatchet on your back" mechanic it is possible to carry more than one firearm!

I droped a dmr with  like 10 bullets for a lee with 2 full mags for then once, so ya who needs the dmr

I don't really understood why it's bad to have two weapons. I personally always carry a gun + melee because of the zombies, but if some guy wants two guns, why not let him have them?

mm that happened to me once but after some switching involving an hatchet i lose the capability to do that, or to repeat the glitch..it would be nice, but a penalty in movement should be implemented

Nar going to leave this one awhile we are pretty busy fixing the backpack issue with mags logging off:-)

I don't see this as a "bad glitch" I mean, in the non DayZ world (real life I think they call it?) you can carry two assault rifles... dem-slings lol 

Maybe keep it in, but have it so you have to reload the weapon you have slung when you draw it? or take a little longer to switch between the two?

That's an exploit? I assumed having one gun in your hands and one slung over the shoulder was the reason they gave us two slots now.

me too I was think this was design like this one weapon hold one weapon on shoulder

 

I do this carry 2 weapons for weeks since 1.8 first coming out :|
