on respawn, there is no lag, after a while it creeeps in slowly...why

Recommended Posts

So I been running some tests on my server and I notice with 60-70 people, on respawn, even 2 hours into the match everything is lag free.

The way I test is by clicking the END key to toggle on and off my debug menu and count how many seconds it takes for it to register to turn it off or on.

so why after about 10-15 minutes of gameplay, does it the sometimes anywhere from 5-9 seconds for it to register?

is there a setting Im missing somewhere in the basic cfg? is this lag? or dysnc?

I have my server now, where we dont get the red chain as much... so Im trying to pin point why the delay in the server after a certain amount of time

Why are you always going on about your basic.cfg, even when talking about your Debug Monitor?

Who exactly told you to play around with it?

its all over the internet, and even people STILL dont have an answer for the real settings for it

so people are now seeing great FPS on my server but then there is the 3-9 second lag the starts to happen 10 minutes into gameplay

so why is this, and how can it be fixed?

the lag issue is resolved after a log out and log back in.

if this was an anti hack issue it would be always and not just as time goes on

Incorrect if its an anti hack issue you would see it as time goes on the antihack runs through loops and causes server side fps to drop over time esp when more people are on as the antihack is streamed to the clients pc causing bandwidth issues and then you start getting network message pending while the server tries to catch up

if you are using debug monitor from said antihack this is also being streamed from the server hence the time it takes to disappear

if a relog fixes it may be something thats running client side thats affecting performance ie auto refuel/towing/ai
