MySQL (currently not used, but in Beta/Release each server will run its own DB)

From the FAQ.

"Beta/Release"

So, Beta and Release for the mod is planned. But when is beta?...

That FAQ is very old and outdated, a lot has changed since then. best to just ignore it.
