make loot stop spawning and also zombies

Is there any way I can make stuff from stop spawning on my server? the dayz "loot"?

 

I want to see if I get better FPS

I don't think you're both talking about the same thing, I think he wants to know how to disable loot and zombies from spawning on his server to see if it changes the performance.

Can you verify this? It seems to be a persistent rumour that people are stating as fact, but nowhere have I seen Rocket or anyone associated with the dev team saying that.

Undoubtedly you will get better FPS - but there's no point. If you don't want Zombies on your server for whatever reason - don't open a DayZ-Server.

I want zombies on my server, I just want a set number, say 300. Not just spawning all over out of thin air...

so Now, we are getting better FPS and we are happy,

 

How do we stop the useless loot from spawning and lagging the server...

 

we will be using care packages instead.

Why didn't you ask that in the first place? It could have saved a lot of discussion.

 

What you want to do there is basically changing the lootspawns and zombiespawns, which are controlled by the same files.
