enforcer1975 1111 Posted November 15, 2013 In the mod, no. But let us not try to ruin the standalone as well... Mkay? If everything was really so rare i'd be surprised to see people continuing their want on murder type of game and the mentality that you will find everything in minutes of gameplay. Want to risk attacking someone with the probablity of having a chunk of edged steel in your face or keep what you have and better try scavenging that can of beans you need. But of course there will become a trend like in the mod where it becomes a funny thing to troll people by killing or backstabbing. IMO that will be the biggest problem with the standalone... not being able to get rid of the idiots. Doesn't matter if they're ruining the game for other people, they paid for it. methr1k2dop3 323 Posted November 20, 2013 All vehicles have some sort of cooling system being a fan, radiator, or whatever. Unless you're constantly racing the engine, I don't see how running the car all day long could cause short term damages.agreed.Cars are built to run "all day" and not suffer any sort of damage. enforcer1975 1111 Posted November 20, 2013 agreed.Cars are built to run "all day" and not suffer any sort of damage. Every engine will break if you overheat it, diesel engines are sturdier in that matter if you have warmed them up properly. If heat wouldn't matter they would have left the cooling parts away. Heat build-up happens no matter how careful or low-rev you drive, if it exceeds the cooling capacity ( either through excessive "racing" or lack of cooling fuilds ) it will overheat. If you drive from the outskirts via highway into a city where you have lot's of slow traffic you can see the needle going up because the engine lacks air to cool down, but that won't normally kill the engine. Judging from my experience at the gas station a lot of people only know where the fuel tank is, they never check oil levels or tire pressure and wait until some light turns on on the panel then fill it up. Oh yes and i killed an engine once by overheating it...
SFRGaming 718 Posted November 20, 2013 What would be the difference between going full throttle, skiding around corners and jumping over every bump and ( rally ) racing? That's how most players drive their cars.Racing is a term used in driving that means achieving high rpm in a short period for an extensive amount of time.
