psycorevolution 18 Posted November 9, 2013 A lot of people make DayZ videos on Youtube, but for some reason there aren't very many parody songs for the game, especially when compared to a game like Minecraft. I'm working on making a parody music video in DayZ, but I need some help in the music department, so I launched a Kickstarter a couple days ago to help make this video happen.http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/psycorevolution/were-bandits-dayz-music-videoThe page explains the project fully if you have any questions, and thanks ahead of time for taking a look.
elf cakes 559 Posted November 9, 2013 you need some help in the music part, so you need $160? you could easily just get a backing tune or something, and writing your own music isnt hard if you have the software. i really don't think you need any money at all.
TheWizard14 372 Posted November 9, 2013 why would you need money to create music and lyrics...? My sister does this all the time and no money asked.
Korsbaek 1778 Posted November 9, 2013 Why are people even backing this up on Kickstarter? Making a video is a great idea, but I'm pretty sure one can do it for free.
Gruso (DayZ) 81 Posted November 9, 2013 Well I'm going to go against the grain and say... why not? It's nice that a lot of youtubers have access to a friend, family member, or their own ability to make a song. But not everyone does. Paying talent for their time should not be such a horrifying concept. And it's only a tiny amount. Hope you reach your goal OP.
St. Jimmy 1631 Posted November 9, 2013 (edited) Do your own music./Btw that topic is very confusing. Should be DayZ Machinima Kickstarter. Edited November 10, 2013 by St. Jimmy
NagsterTheGangster 388 Posted November 10, 2013 Seems a bit stiff imo... Download audacity, its a good music editing program with user friendly controls and is free also!
