I am asking you politely to delete my account. The fact my name is so unique is one of the reasons I wish for it to be deleted and I expect my request to be completed. I'm trying to manage where my information is on the internet. Thank you.  :|

No, no, no, it's not your "Information" if you've logged out the account, it's just a profile no one will hear about or care about again, its not stored anywhere, or on anything.Your name being "Unique" dosent help this either.

Don't tell anyone that your request should be executed too, we aren't a company, and you aren't a customer.

It's not a claim, it's a request to delete my profile as I am no longer part of this community and no longer wish for my details to be on the database of this website. Your offensive language is extremely off putting my friend

To be honest, you have no information anyone could use to exploit, damage, or do anything against you or anyone.

No address, no name, no bio, no nothing.

My request is not in anyway stupid. I seriously do not know why you are being so offensive and obnoxious. Perhaps I should PM an admin or moderator instead as this conflict could have been avoided if I had a genuine admin response and/or discussion, thanks.

I have sent a PM to the community manager. Quite disappointed with the hostility and childishness of posters here. Been a long time ARMA player and was one of the first to play DayZ, however haven't played for about a year and a bit now and I'm astonished to see how immature the community has become. 

 

There is no real secrecy as to why I wish to delete my account. I'd rather not leave my password (which I use for a number of services using this name) and email be vulnerable to hacking etc.

Nearly every community on the internet has a delete account button or will facilitate a request to delete an account but I guess that considering it is Halloweend you guys are trying to make it as spooky as possible by forbidding me to leave  :lol:

 

P.S Moderators you really need to show more force here and stop obnoxious members from thinking they are above other people in the community. @Wolf I have even been a member for longer than you on this site

You could also change your password for this site to something you'll never use, that'll solve at least part of your problem.

 

Thinking about it, I'm not sure if it is even possible to delete an account here, or if you can only ban it. In the latter case, changing your PW might be your only option.

Hi thanks yeah this is a good idea but would prefer a deletion of the account. If it comes to it I wouldn't mind doing as you said though. 

Oh and when an admin does see this, I would take a ban too if it means an account deletion after a while :P
