Shooting open doors in SA..

Slugs would more than likely open a door if aimed at the lock, so just make it openable with a shotgun blast followed by your character collision with it. 

 

And quite frankly that "hollywood" shit your talking about Demon, quite dismissive in my opinion, but regardless, this isnt THAT far-fetched at all, and whats wrong with a little Hollywood thrown in there, just a small aspect that makes the game that much more badass.

I dont think theres any, I live a tiny bit out in the country so I don't go into Christchurch that much.

 

Scrap that I go in there everyday for school but I never venture into where all the buildings got knocked down ect. Theres no need, theres nothing there to go and see.

I'd like to be able to shoot them open for shock value.

 

If you think there's someone inside you could shoot the door and charge in (with a shotgun) and there could also be a chance of injuring the other player if they're standing on the other side of the door.

 

Technically though I'm not sure if it's possible because it would mean as assets the game would have to treat them differently and store their states.

I know ArmA 3 completely redid ballistics, and it now actually damages opponents realistically on the opposite end.

Instead of shooting you should be able to kick or melee the door down.
