More Suggestions for SA

Hello again everyone...

 

 

 

I love DayZ, i can say it too, but i dont like the tdm 1000000000000000000+ vehicle servers so that would be the first thing i change in the standalone.

 

Heres my list:

 

  1. Im pretty sure this will be in it but a prison. One like in the Walking Dead.

 

     2. Second of all I'd loooove to see some new maps. Preferably ones built ground up for a zombie apocalypse.

     3. Third of all, I'd like to see some sort of underground structures, on some maps, like Dr.Ivan's lab  in DayZ Origins.

 

 

     4. Much more diversity in events. Right now there are only heli crashes, which provide useless loot, unlike 1.7.7.4. I would like to see some plane crashes, zombie breaches in areas, hordes, and maybe even car crashes that are dynamic with maybe military ai that defend it.(military or civilian)

 

 

     5. Built from ground up not ports. Made for dayz maps. already mentioned it but would like to go into further detail. I mean like fallen over buildings. planes crashed into the sides of buildings, vines everywhere, grass and vines growing through buildings and roads, blood splatters, and maybe even dismembered body parts laying some places, maybe even flooded regions.

     6. More Zombie types. I dont mean classes like tanks and jumpers, like l4d2. I mean like ones with no legs, some that run, some that walk, some that crawl.

 

     7. Being able to be free. The arma 2 engine is a little bit too structured for a sandbox mod. It provides too may glitches and bugs. By being able to be free i mean finding a chain, chopping off the arms and jaws of zombies putting them on the chain and using them as a disguise from zombies. As seen in the Walking Dead

    8. MOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAARRRR VEhILES AND BETTER DRIVING PHYSICS. Use the physics from beam ng drive, but maybe a little bit more realistic.

The zombies are not undead.  They're rabid living human beings.  You chop off their arms and Jaw and they'll die from blood loss.  Maps take a LONG time to make from scratch/ground up, but they will be coming, just not anytime soon.  Rocket has said he's wanted to do something underground, weather that be a subway or sewer system, he doesn't know yet, but for now we won't have it.  Rocket wants 'events' to be player driven, while it would be cool to see the Heli actually crash, it's not something that's going to happen (at least not for a while).  Thous pictures you have, that'd be years after the outbreak, while the time frame hasn't been established yet, most assume its anywhere from a few days to a couple months.

Thanks for you're criticism, but I always considered zombies as more of undead beings than rabid humans

Erm, BeamNG, has the BEST driving physics that currently exist. How can you ask for something more realistic? Bahaha

Uhm... That's extremely vague. What do you mean "free?" It's not like those things are automatically possible and the engine is deliberately preventing you from doing it. They have to create code for any kind of event they want to happen. "Provides glitches and bugs?" The word "provide" implies intent. Bugs are not intentional; they're bugs.

 

Come back when you have a basic comprehension of programming and try updating your suggestion with some sense, please.

What i mean is, when watching some videos, I see that some crashes and the way the cars bounce are a little bit overdone.

What I meant was that the bugs are not intentional, but they are still there and very annoying. I'll admit I don't know shit about programming.

It's not overdone. It's what happens in a car wreck. BeamNG was coded for realism, not playability. Big difference.

Well unfortunately a good deal of what you requested is basically nigh impossible. I get that you want more from the game, but it has certain limitations and we kind of just have to accept that. I do agree that we need more map detail and better environments, however. I would also like to see more maps and unique locations as well.
