Changing server and keeping gear.

Recommended Posts

Hello Dayz forum. I have a little question for you.

I use Dayz commander and the server i am playing on atm is a unoffical server. I have gotten some quite good sniper gear, that i want to transfer. The problems is that the loot system seems to fail on the server. Its only on server restart the loot will drop again.

So my question is: Is it possible for me to change server and still keep my gear?

- Best Regards

Unless the Private Server has a shared Hive I'm afraid not.

Official Servers will allow you to.

Is it Vanilla DayZ? 1.8.0.2 by any chance? There was a major issue with loot not dropping, but it's fixed now. Give it a bit of time and read this:

* [FIXED] - Loot system lockout timers updated. (Should correct 0 loot pile issues)
