What's the first thing you'd do in DayZ Standalone?

Go into houses, try on clothes and get accustomed to their stats...and go into more houses.

 

 

Every building being enterable is a HUGE game changer to me, and I believe it will have such a huge impact on the way some people play that it'll be good to know those building layouts ASAP.

I believe that there won't be any sidechat at all.  Only raidos.

 

That's correct. It'll work by text/VOiP if survivors choose to activate it and tune in to a certain frequency.

 

Radios also have an ability to play music from community owned stations and can be placed on the ground to attract zombies and other survivors but.. Let's not get off topic here :)

 

 

The first thing I'd do in the Standalone is probably travel around after grabbing loot :)

I will go sit in a house make it my home and the start to sob,as I see all the players complain about no dmrs,the lack of a million cars and helis on the coast,and some try hards calling some one a "bambi (aka the worst word ever).

Not saying SA wont be fun,but things have happend to the community, somethings it may never comeback from.

2. Figure out the new inventory system in safety.

3. Start looking for loot while figuring out how smart/fast/aware the Zeds are.

First, I'll see if they fixed the problems with blur from ArmA 2.

 

Then, I'll turn it up to the prettiest playable stings(I CAN ENJOY GAMEPLAY AND GRAPHICS)

 

I'll run to the closest town, find some food, a pack, some pimping clothes and a melee weapon.

 

Then I'll swim to Skalisty, loot it, then swim to Utes, and loot the absolute fuck out of it.

 

After that, I'll make periodic trips back and forth between the island and mainland. Even if I have everything I need on Utes.

 

And finally, I'll scour the lands for Hestaine, handcuff him, and then harvest his blood without consent.

When I'm finally in a server in the STANDALONE, I am going to find the nearest group of zombies and do an insane parkour jump over their heads, then i'm going to turn around and hatchet them all to death. THAT is what I'm going to do when I'm finally in a server when the standalone is released.
