We have moved server host and obviously reset player data so have taken this opportunity to relaunch our Epoch server as a bit of a "harsh survival" server, suitable for players who are looking for a difficult challenge and for a server that isn't saturated with any and every free script that's available - basically a standard Epoch server that's geared up for playing DAY Z how it was meant to be played! For all this is our clan home server, there are no massively over powered teams punishing new players the second they set foot on the coast and our polayers are divided up among small groups and teams! Clan membership NOT necessary to join the server, everyone is welcome to use it and we also have lots of smaller groups and private teams playing on it too. Traders are a fundamental part of this particular mod so there's not a lot we can do about them within Epoch, that's the developers job. Also we do have a standard vanilla Day Z main hive server for those who want to go that extra mile without the traders in Day Z too. The point is this is our Epoch server, so the traders and their stocks are to be expected, all be it with modified pricing to make things like choppers, night vision, high end weapons etc VERY difficult to obtain. These are the sort of things that have to be worked towards on this particular server. Personally I feel this is a unique server and certainly one of the hardest configs we've ran on our servers and we've been running them since launch. C'mon, it's Epoch fer chrissakes. You can buy everything you need. If 1st person alone equals "harsh" nowadays, I'm scared for the future. The initial post is quite clear it's epoch and there's more to the config than simply no 3rd person. If you are going to try to be a smart arse at least read first mate and get your facts straight.
