grimsonfart 49 Posted September 24, 2013 Im looking for a server that does not have all the features such as auto refuel, 500+ vehicles, modded map and such, just the good old experience.
IrishHugo 75 Posted September 24, 2013 The RAID WINE(don't know why it's capitalized) servers are the ones I play on, they are as vanilla as you get and nearly always full, they are FR 129, 130 and 34, if your from Europe usually no lag, highly recommend them.

bibbish 49 Posted September 24, 2013 I'm on UK410 atm. It's okay, especially if you don't like it too busy. (Though 1.8 did make it busier). I don't know how 'good' it is though, so if people have any horror stories I'd like to hear them. It runs pretty well and I haven't noticed the admins doing anything bad... NagsterTheGangster 388 Posted September 24, 2013 If anybody knows a good Vanilla for north America with good ping that would be appreciated.
StrangeOrange 15 Posted September 25, 2013 I play on US 264, which is hosted in Chicago (it says Dallas in the title- ignore that). Players all over the US report good ping. :)

I have a crew of about 8-10 people that used to play on this server regularily. It's a good place, good admins and great anti hacks (never seen a hacker my entire time there). We haven't played as much recently (work commitments), and from letting someone in our group who sold out where all our vehicles/tents etc were to another group who destroyed everything, bit demoralising haha. With the new patch we'll all be back on soon enough so activity should pick up a bit!

Players all over the US report good ping. :) I like that one too, with one exception: Nametags. On more than one occasion I have spotted people I couldn't see from great distances simply because I had the dumb luck of moving my crosshairs over them. That pretty much kills the experience for me on that otherwise great and well-populated server.
grumpyhamster 0 Posted September 28, 2013 Im looking for a server that does not have all the features such as auto refuel, 500+ vehicles, modded map and such, just the good old experience. Just set up a new one running 1.8 with full day/night cycle set to GMT 0 All the vehicles are still untouched, and their are only 50 on the map. Not adding more as I prefer to hunt for them, not have a wide selection parked all over the map. Feel free to check it out, its in Germany (I'm UK), so pretty good pings round europe. Search BuildCraftSMP in DayZ Commander, or use the IP 144.76.57.246:5802 WIll get it advertised as soon as I get time, so get on and find a vehicle while the map is still fresh :)

There is no verdict right now on whether we would remove them but I believe it is the opinion of some higher-ups that they do not belong. Only time will tell.
