Using Landing Auto-pilot makes you crash

Recommended Posts

Because you make too much speed then the helicopter is making a sharp dive w/e to stop the speed to 0. If you are gonna try to go down/up it might make a stupid turn wich will make you crash. Went through like 4/5 of them like this xD

Landing auto pilot usually causes your plane to stall during turns and such and plummet towards the ground

Learn how to fly and land without it, that's the only solution

Are you talking about helicopters or the AN-2 plane?  You do realise for helicopters it is actually Auto-Hover and not a landing auto-pilot?

The control is designed to slow the helicopter to zero horizontal speed and maintain a fixed hover ... which it will try to do whenever selected, regardless of current height and speed.

It does not control height when engaged, so if big inputs are made with the collective, the helicopter will still either spear into the ground or zoom into the sky.
