bin config.bin/cfgmagazines.itemnails

Recommended Posts

Ok was all going good for along time.. get a notification to update a couple of days back, I updated and now I get this error (bin config.bin/cfgmagazines.itemnails) everytime I load onto a server and the game wont load.. dayzcommander wont let me roll back the version, just keeps coming up with a error when I try to install a older version.. I installed play withsix and it worked, was able to get in game again.. then this morning play withsix asked if I wanted to install update.. I did and now I got the same problem again I had with dayz commander, cant work out how to roll either back

I have been searching everything for hours for a fix, tried the one any only fix that is on these forums and it just wont roll back with either program

any idea's?

thanks

Edit : I have also tried removing arma file from regedit and running the games again.. tried unistalling dayz from steamapp/common folder and reinstalling, tried everything I have found online titled a fix, the versions just wont roll back and no servers are running the new versions

You guys need to join servers running on 1.8, while having 1.8 installed.

That error does not come up unless either you or the server is running on the latest version of the mod.

The problem is, there are no servers in aus running 1.8.. Hence why I'm trying to roll back, like most I have my fav sever and I have spoken to admins running the server on team speak and they have no intentions on upgrading the server since the previous version is running with no probs.

Is there no way to manually roll back without using dayz commander? Like delete the update from the steam folder somewhere and go back to 1.7.1.1 or whatever the older version was? To play on a over seas server ill be played with a 400+ ping which is unplayable

Launch Dayz commander and use the scroll option in install/update to downgrade your dayz version to the one that suits you.

Yeah tried that steak.. Dayz commander won't roll back.. Getting a error everytime you try to change the version, that's why I tried play with six.. All was good intill that updated aswell, so frustrating no one will update thier servers and every fix out there isn't working.

Just need to find a way to manually remove the 1.8 update

or ill just have to wait till severs in aus update to 1.8 :(
