RooBurger 285 Posted September 16, 2013 Zombies don't need to spawn evenly across the whole map. It doesn't make sense that in every town there should be a consistent population of zombies according to the number of houses or whatever. There should be more zombies in some areas than others, places where very few Zs spawn, while other areas might have a horde of them. Random and uneven distribution with every server restart. rossums 2190 Posted September 16, 2013 It won't be constant, there will be higher spawn rates in the cities and towns compared to the outskirts and rural areas.
DemonGroover 8836 Posted September 16, 2013 It would be interesting if one day you visited Tulga there were 6 zombies, while the next there were 30. Something to keep you on your toes is good.

Yep, that would be very cool. You'd have to change your strategy every time.
Dr.Duff 211 Posted September 16, 2013 I just wish there were hoards of zombies and not a set number of shufflers dependant on your fps.
AP_Norris 1018 Posted September 16, 2013 I think a server should just start with sensibly spawned zombies, low in country, medium in towns, lots in cities and massive hordes in those areas like the military tent hospitals and roadblocks. And since they wander it should balance itself out after a couple of days.Zombies should spawn when there is a low population of them in that area and there isn't too much player log in and off activity to determine whether its a base or not.
