Wouldn't it be nice if zombies ignore when you are infected? Since you are already loosing blood from getting infected I think it balances things. I mean you cant stay infected forever because you'll just die unless someone helps you. Pretty similar to what they did in World War Z (movie). Infection made them somehow camoflauge from zombies.

 

Just a suggestion don't hate.

o.t.: no i don't like the idea. i cannot think of an infection where you gain even temp. something good. 

Keep in mind: AN infection is not the same as THE infection

The infection you get from the zombies isn't the disease that zombified everyone, you are getting a blood infection from being scratched by a big, dirty zombie who hasn't washed in a week with sharp nails and a complete inability to stop eating people.

It will be more obvious in the standalone, the individual infections will play a much bigger part in the game and will affect how you have to play.

This was an original concept that worked for World War Z, I will admit.  But I don't think it can be properly implemented into a game.  Also, this is a similar idea to the first season of The Walking Dead where Rick and Glenn covered themselves with zombie guts to "stink" their way past the horde.
