ARMA 3 - DayZ

I bought arma 3, do i need arma 2 to run dayz? cause if so that sucks massive dick...

there two separate games.. of course you need arma 2 for "arma 2's : DayZ Mod".

 

how ever there is a dayz mod with different devs for arma 3 i believe.

There's an ArmA3 "version" (I use the term VERY loosely) of DayZ called "Zoombies". As far as I know, nobody here endorses it. And you'd still need ArmA2 OA and DayZmod to play it anyway.

Basically it's a port of the mod, which requires that you already have the ability to play the mod.  

 

A pointless exercise, if you ask me.

From what I hear you also have to register somewhere before you can download it.  :huh:

 

So, in short, I don't think anyone can help you out here.

Dead Nation is the DayZ equivalent in A3. But why would you buy A3 just to play DayZ? Are you not sick of DayZ already? A3 has much much more content to play than stupid zombies. Can't you wait for standalone?
