NagsterTheGangster 388 Posted September 11, 2013 So I just started DayZ and on my first ever run on the game I found a Military type vehicle with DMR, 4 mags for it, bandages, backpack, just a bunch of awesome stuff. So i Move most of it to my inventory and about 1 min after I do Im kicked for high ping.. After returning to the server i spawned with my character glitched inside the vehicle. After I walked out I went to my bag and thus..nothing. Has this ever happened to you guys? It happened 20 mins after and I got to keep my stuff the second time around.. Is there something I can do to avoid this? let me know. -Alex
Hetstaine 10852 Posted September 11, 2013 Yeah seen it a few times, sounds like you are way out of sync and your items are not updating because of your high ping. Find a lower ping server :)
kevsta545 451 Posted September 11, 2013 Dayz golden rules:1. Dont stay attached to your gear. But I feel your pain, if the server has a fourm you can try contactin admins, although my doubts are high you'll see those items anytime soon

Mos1ey 6301 Posted September 11, 2013 Unlucky, lol, but yeah, these things happen. The only advice I can give you is try to stabilize your connection to prevent from lagging out in future, unfortunately.
BigChef 55 Posted September 12, 2013 I feel for you man as I'm in the same boat. I live out in the sticks waiting for broad band to reach me, and until then I play while tethered to my phone so you learn to play on what servers you can. It helps to play official serverrs, that way there is usually one where you can get a decent ping and have your gear follow you.
