Why the "Global Ban for no reason" excuse doesn't work.

Okay, now the majority of people posting here about their Global bans (Despite the fact that they shouldn't because we're not BattlEye) seem to be shocked to discover nobody immediately trusts them when they tell us "I swear, it was for no reason! BattlEye are crazy!"

Well, you see, that's what they all say:

 

That was from the first few comments on one video. I have found dozens more. We simply have NO reason to believe that BattlEye bans for no reason and there's hundreds of legitimate bans on people claiming they do in addition to the millions of people who play DayZ legitimately that haven't been banned to prove that. All you have is your word.

 

But your word doesn't even matter here. Because we're not BattlEye. Even if we did believe you, we couldn't do anything about it.

Yeah lol..it reminds of this guy who i burnt a copy of strike fighters for back in the day, i posted him the disc and then he went on the official forums and complained like a mental about how buggy the game was..full knowing it needed major patching. And getting the game for free.

And there is almost always posts on the same shitty website about them not being able to work hacks correctly - hacking always seems to attract the biggest group of morons known to man.

It's always amusing to me reading the I got banned for no reason threads :lol: .

Because it just proofes that people who use hack`s are generally stupid and suck at the game :P.

If someone says he got banned "for no reason" he either 1) got his cd-key stolen by something he downloaded from an untrusted source or 2) is lying. It's that simple.

 

Anyway, the vast majority of people that contact me are indeed theft victims and of course many then blame BE for their own mistakes. As you can see when reading those comments, taking responsibility for your own property (cd-key) and your own actions is not very popular nowadays. Instead many victims (who sadly don't even realize they are victims) choose to go on the internet and post nonsense about BE ruining its reputation - because if hundreds of people are repeating the same lie it automatically becomes truth. :thumbsup:

Erm. Just throwing some stuff in this thread.

 

 

As far as hacking = ban some day, that's partially correct. I know the culture around here is that it's acceptable to get banned every 2 weeks, buy a new stolen key, and expect another ban 2 weeks later. That's not how all hacks on other websites and other games work. The norm is usually several months or longer between bans for most places/games. Some websites go years with no bans. However, BattleEye has been kicking every coder's butt (that I know of) the last 2-3 months and frankly every website that offers DayZ hacks that I've seen have been an utter failure in regards to keeping it undetected.
