Lady Kyrah 1110 Posted September 9, 2013 Hi GuyZ. Here's a list of things that I think should be added in the SA to give ChernaRussia a more "Apocalyptic" feel.1- Blinking street lights.2- Abandoned Trollies/Shopping Carts in the Supermarkets.3- Dead People hanging from the rafters in Barns (Suicide).4- Massive Burial pits that can spread diseases + Dead Hazmat teams.5- Rotting corpses with Orthodox Crosses clutched in their hands.6- Dead Soldiers tied to posts, with bullet holes in their chest and a sign saying "предатель" on their chests. (Maybe CDF who were ordered to kill deserters)7- Abandoned Quarentine Camps.8- Explorable Oil Rigs with Infected Crew.9 EDIT: I also had this idea. What if? after every the server restart, the world looks more overgrown? (weeds growing out of the pavement, vines growing on buildings)Well, please tell me what you think?1. No electricity.2. Why not.3. Doesn't sound like something everyone does, is it worth spending the time to make a model that will only be a small detail and be in most likely a single spot?4. That's assuming someone dug them. I still believe the government couldn't react.5. Meh cliché.6. Deserters are still shot?7. see point 4.8. Meh, how many times clearning it before it gets old?9. Sure, code it and show it to us when you're done.

I realise that Blinking Lights idea is flawed. But we don't really know how long after the outbreak it is.Oh. And just ignore the last idea. People generally don't like it so I'll remove it.And with the suicide idea...You know that ArmA 2 already has "Hanged civilian" models in the editor? Karmaterror 982 Posted September 10, 2013 Id like the world to feel apocalyptic trough using some more atmospheric lighting effects. Here would be 1 very easy way to achieve it http://www.kylania.com/ex/?p=
King of kong 1117 Posted September 10, 2013 Yeah. I think that Metro: Last Light's lighting effects were immersive

King of kong 1117 Posted September 10, 2013 Canada is an interesting idea. But most gamers are acccustomed to general Canadian/American landscape. I think we should go for somewhere in the EU. I'd like Ireland. but that's just cause' I live here. Finland would be cool
Cormyr 39 Posted September 10, 2013 I could go for Ireland, if it was north Ireland like at Ballycastle and the islands near by etc..maybe even over to Glasgow. Or the islands etc. between Denmark and Sweden.

We need a landscape that doesn't exist anywhere but feels like it's somewhere on this planet.
