seaweeduk 97 Posted January 27, 2014 27/01/2014 - Another fix for 2 weapon exploit - Big thanks to cyrq for this one, he gave me some updated code for his script from dayzed which should put an end to the disappearing guns people were seeing when switching weapons with the number keys. His new code includes a check against an animation condition that should fix the bug some players were suffering. - Added GP25 grenades to loot - The GP25 HE, Smoke and Flare grenades are now available in military locations. seaweeduk 97 Posted January 31, 2014 31/01/2014 - Dams don't spawn Military loot now - I hadn't even spotted this change, they made the dams spawn military loot (same as firestations and tents) in dayzmod 1.8. Makes no logical sense to me so I swapped it for industrial loot. - Increased fishing rod drop chances - Increased the chance of finding a fishing rod at the wooden boats or in one of the boathouses. Don't forget you can also find them at survivor camps up north and barracks on our server.- Chopping down a tree for wood will remove that tree - Thank you dayz epoch for this one, chopping down a tree should remove that tree in game until next restart. seaweeduk 97 Posted February 2, 2014 (edited) 02/02/2014 - Tweaks to strip clothes script - New Weapons - Added 2 new M4 variants and 1 new M16 to the MilitarySpecial (Barracks) and HelicrashWest loot tables, RGO sight and ACOG GL (one has iron sights you can toggle with "/" too). Continue reporting combat logging incidents to me via the forums or teamspeak regardless. Its not going to cover all cases and I still need to ban people who combat log.- Percentage Chance for Barracks Loot Increase - I've been noticing loot in barracks is a little too rare for my liking. seaweeduk 97 Posted February 3, 2014 (edited) 03/02/2014 - Antihack Update - Forgot to remove one of the new guns from the banned weapons list in the antihack. It will have disappeared if you looted one yesterday, looks like that only affected 1 person any way. - Added permaloot varaible to bury body - I forgot to set the permaloot variable for the boxes left when you bury a person. You won't notice much different for now but when my new changes to the loot system are implemented, top tier loot items - eg sniper rifles, machine guns, ghillie suits, nvgs and 24 slot backpacks should be even rarer. seaweeduk 97 Posted February 6, 2014 (edited) 06/02/2014 - Database Hacker Logging - Coded and implemented an additional layer of hacker scanning for the database.- Tear rate on Soldier Clothing Changed - I've updated the tear chance on soldier clothing to be 75%, as it seems to be the most desirable skin. - Added a new DB Procedure for Bike Spawning - I respawn all the bicycles once a week on Thursdays, rather than running the general vehicle spawn procedure once the bikes are deleted I have written a new one specifically for bikes. Theres an alternate method of targetting used for these objects, ZavoraAnim has been added to this list and you should now get the option to remove it. Basebuilding: right click your toolbox, here you can view the basebuilding help and the basebuilding recipe list. You can also right click your map if you wish to see your basebuilding flags marked.Self Bloodbag: this is still restricted only to hospitals/medical/basebuilding tents and will not work elsewhere, the option will be available to you all the time now when you right click a bloodbag, but it will only work if you are near one of the allowed buildings.Suicide: Right click your pistol if you have decided you have had enough of the world just make sure you have ammo for it left. I have also increased the humanity gain from burying a body from 100 to 500. I am also working on an entirely new system for humanity lost/gained when a player is killed at the moment. seaweeduk 97 Posted February 13, 2014 13/02/2014 - Traps Fixed (partially) - There have been a couple of problems with the traps that came with 1.8 which have stopped people from using them. I have now fixed the first of these problems. Any trap which was placed armed was re-spawning unarmed after a restart. This was being caused by a change made for basebuilding on the serverside. I have fixed that problem now and traps will respawn armed after a restart if they were armed before it. HOWEVER bear traps still cannot be armed from the scroll wheel, other traps such as the can traps appear to work great as they spawn armed. I'm going to be looking at this soon to try and get to the bottom of it. The traps are armed serverside rather than client, it could be antihacks interfering or another change I've made, or it could just be broken by default. My previous settings were more optimised for lower player counts, these new ones should reduce wait for host issues and improve connectivity in general. The lowering of a gate is no longer local only to clients connected at that time. From now on if you die or login after a bases walls have been lowered they will still be lowered for you! For now I've just removed the factory but I do have some plans for a map revamp in a few areas when I get some more time.
