[D50] Gaming Clan server - Admin abuse?

I will defend my server and the players on it. It's a great community of people. These two are claiming admin abuse when that is clearly not the case.

Possibly because your approach for this landing was a crash and burn? If you came at me like a big boy and not insulting us and talked to me about what happened...then maybe this would not be here anymore. I can easily get a mod to remove it. But I'm savoring this a little now. Because you put your foot in your mouth a few times. Don't try to act hardcore and insult me and then say "why am I still reading this?" You acted tough and implied we are bambis <blah blah blah>...we presented that someone (possibly an admin) was abusing some sort of power and you try to shit on me but miss the target? Now you come out and say he was banned after not only insulting the OP but then saying we were banned after that and make something up about us trying to keep coming in? Are you really the admin bro? Maybe I'll have a forum admin delete this thread later tonight WHEN I'M READY. Because you chose how to make your bed. Now sleep in it for a moment.

I read the screenshot, already knowing Mr. McGhilicuddy is/was a pain in the ass. Nothing in the logs showed that he was cheating, however, he should have known better than to even hint at being the server admin. I have a busy server and a low tolerance for many things, including impersonating an admin. Thus, based on what I read here, and knowing it is probably legit, Mr. McGhilicuddy was bounced from the server.

 

That should have been something you used as an original response. ONE RESPONSE and this would have been gone. But instead you chose some other crazy route. Thread will be removed later this evening.

Where are the logs of us repeatedly trying to join after we were "banned". Where are the logs of how we died?

This was the ideal response to the situation. That right there would've made this thread about 20x shorter.

 

The response you gave, however...

I am the only admin on the D50 server. Our website has lists for bandits, longest living survivors, and heros. Nowhere on the website does it list "members". Like most bambis, you came into a notoriously aggressive server and got killed. The fact that you needed to come here and cry certainly speaks volumes about your character and cowardice. It's a pvp server. It says so in the name. If you want to pick daisies and run around in your pink ghillie, play on another server. Don't knock our server, or our players, because you came in and couldn't stomach the violence.

Was disgusting. Not only is this an ideal example of how you don't reply to someone who has had a negative experience on your server, but it is not how you treat any individual on these forums, period. I understand the need to defend your server from incorrect accusations but there really was no need to be so aggressive. I hope you take this as a learning experience and keep a cool head next time.

Not sure I follow. "The real cool hand"?

 

EDIT: Oh, so this person is not at all Cool Hand. Why would someone go out of their way to do all of this? They have tarnished the reputation of a potentially good server for absolutely no reason.

 

I'm frankly tired of this entire fiasco, from the flaming in my inbox to now apparently it not even being the real person. Must I personally go and get the real Cool Hand just to make sure that we know who the hell knows what?

It appears this "D50 Cool Hand" may be an impostor. One who reported to the real "D50 Cool Hand" that myself, Redshirt and Prime were hacking on that server after we killed his mates and thus got our characters instakilled. The alternative is that this is in fact the real D50 Cool Hand and now, after the fact realizing how poorly he behaved, is trying to deflect blame onto this [NNJA] Gamer. The second option sounds less preposterous once you notice that this D50 Cool Hand has been a member of the dayzmod forums since last march with the same display name and this [NNJA] Gamer who claims to be very active on the D50 Overwatch server is not listed anywhere in their extensive hero/bandit leader boards http://www.d50clan.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=tm088brpen1to19mp92es9v587;www

I just found this on the 'fake' Cool Hands account. I have a feeling this is the real admin trying to re-direct the blame, so as not to give his server worse of a name.

ive been going on D50 server  for a while now , and ive noticed that they are alot of combat logging going on, and i would like mention about admin abuse, checking where i am then flying a chopper to me then letting another D50 member jump out and try find me and kill me! and as for the NO-GO area, which where the D50 base is, as if you get too close it will kill you...!!! well that is just cheating, so nobody loot your base....
