d.walker43 196 Posted August 9, 2014 Hmm...im gonna have to tell you no. I have a $400 laptop with slightly better specs, and I can run it fine. However, people with similar or better specs than mine are having troubles. If you find the perfect settings in-game and maybe mess with your files a bit, it may run it. Do you have a gaming desktop at home or something, or is this your permanent computer? If you have a better PC somewhere else id say go for it since you've got nothing to lose, but if I were you I probably wouldn't risk it on that machine. If you buy it and it doesn't work, upgrade the ram. Maybe get a new graphics card, even though they can get pricey. Idk, its up to you but it probably will either not work, or will run but on low settings and around 30 fps. Good Luck!
thechris80 8 Posted August 9, 2014 i would agree d.walker43.It has an integrated GPU onboard.and you have only a Dualcore in this system. This Laptop is more for Officeworks and Multimedia but not for gaming. (i have a Easynote TM85 and Dayz does not work there Properly.)

It all depends on your budget though, but either of these cards will give you a good basis for DayZ. If you opt for a more powerful card you will in turn need a better power supply, whereas these 2 cards should run on most power supplies (bear in mind, R7 260x requires 1x6 pin connector). Vindictae 1 Posted December 7, 2014 I have decided that once I build my PC I would like to get into the mod Dayz before the standalone since currently the standalone game seems like less of an experience. I would like if anybody could to give me some feedback on the build I am currently putting together for this holiday season. (I was on a budget since living in a tourist town, being 15, and the seasons are all working against me currently getting a job.) The budget was about $500, and I hope to expand upon that build later on but I will list below a ink to my build, and also a rough list of the parts included. What im hoping for is that this build could either play the game right off the bat, (I don't care about having ultra settings as long as I can get around 40fps on any settings that would be great.) Or, if not what I should do to expand upon the current build so that I will be able to play the game in the future.
