im thinking to change my Graphics card ( HD XFX 7970 ) to a GTX 760..

This is my current setup

Why would you do that? Im sure the 7970 is more powerful than the gtx 760

Hi, I know integrated graphics aren't suitable for DayZ really but I would like to know what kind of fps would I get if I ran it on the lowest settings, or if I optimized it what I would be able to improve it to, thanks!

Cause the card is kinda "broken"doenst work 100%..

The card is quiet all the times. people are talking about hair dryers?? well.. i cant even hear mine.

I cant even get normal FPS on minecraft with shaders mod.

I cant even play DayZ All on very-high , and i CANNOT record DayZ.

I get low results on 3DMark. and many many more.

That is why :P

You may be able to run it very low settings <15 fps, unfortunately you have to splash if you want a laptop that will run it well.

seems unless there is an issue with something yo should get upward of 50 frames is not in cherno or electro and set up your graphics properly. ive seen people with great cpus and a gtx 660 get 27 frames but its expected of a machine like that to do better than that

You can run it but on low settings roughly 20 fps, you need to get a deidicated gpu fast.

Hello, Ive recently started thinking about getting a new computer to play dayz on.. And i was wondering if this computer can run it on max.

Specs and everything should stand there.

Merged your topic with the Can I Run DayZ? topic...

That laptop will run it okay on medium settings, you could be running on high or very high if you spent the same amount of money on a desktop system though.

I'd recommend going with a Ivy Bridge or Haswell i5 over an i7 and putting the money you save into the graphics card but yeah, that would run DayZ mod on high settings no problem.

How do i check fps in game?

i've got a Asus laptop, i7 2.4ghz, 16 gb ram, geforce 750m.

I run on medium, somethings on high, and it seems fluenty, but i'd like to know my fps.

thx and sorry for the stupid question, but i didn't use a PC for gaming since more than 10 years, and this PC too is mainly for work.

PS. Anyone want to team up sometimes, seems like most players in game shoot on sight   ;)

You can use a program like Fraps or MSi Afterburner or if you're using Teamspeak then Overwolf is good.
