I don't believe it does as you only boot Windows, you aren't running dual OSs like you did with virtual machines in the past. Then again I'm a PC guy, I'm not all that clued up when it comes to Mac stuff. If you're looking to do a lot of gaming then I'd suggest going with a PC as you get much higher specs for your money, they're easier to upgrade and you have a much wider selection of games without having to mess around with Boot Camp. Of course you can have just one ram module instead of two/three/four. You'll just won't be using the dual channel architecture which is like a 10% gain in memory performance. i looked it up and it said 2x4 is better than 1x8. but would 2x8 be better? Depends on the clocks/timings. But if we're talking about identical clocks/timings then yes, 2x8 are much better than 2x4. Also better for the future, the more ram you have, the less need to add more ram in a year or two etc. Just make sure that all modules are same brand, same timings, same power specs. So if you can afford it, get 2x8 modules in a bundle. If you can't, get 1x8, and start putting aside some money to buy an identical module in the next months. If you do decide to do that, you'll have to upgrade the power supply to whatever wattage the video card and system needs. hmmmm, thought so, i know i can over clock it and add a fan for insurance purposes. but with getting a graphics cards beings mine is integrated doeasnt that mean i have to pretty much start from scatch and go for a all round stronger build? or can i just slap a hd 7770 radeon in this puppy and lets rock? keep in mind that i dont worry about the graphics to much im fine on normal or even low. but i do have a decent pocket book if i must. thank you very much for the responce i know everybody wants to ask but in my borderline case i thought i might check. b ARMA 2 by itslelf runs smooth on normal+. just want it to run... With Skype, Chrome, and DayZ open I use about 4.50-ish GB of my RAM. So yeah, upgrade would be good to have for him/her.
