are satchel charges legit?

I was wondering through the forest and I need antibiotics luckily I spotted a tent. inside the tent I found antibiotics and the night vision goggles, GPS rangefinder, you name it. there was also about 20 satchel charges. are satchel charges Legit or were they all hacked into the game? to be safe I left the charges in the tent and destroyed the tent, I am just curious if the charges are legitimate for future reference? I apologize if this reads poorly I am dictating it to my phone while I Drive

Depends on the mod, Taviana has them and they spawn in barracks and freshly spawned SUV's

I'm pretty sure satchel charges are legit, never came across one (that wasn't already set) before myself.  This camp sounds rather dodgy though, all that gear on top of 20 satchel charges?  Either a hacker's camp, someone exploiting a dupe glitch, or a really determined loot monkey, the first two seaming more likely.

I kinda figured the same thing which is why i destroyed the tent. OH well i missed out on a few satchel charges..at least i got my antibiotics i needed

I haven't been following change logs as of late with vanilla, but I do know that Charges were legit, tho extremely rare at  least at one point.

With that many of those + Nvgs I smell a Duper tho.

You could have just taken them. Having hacked-in gear can't get you globally banned.

I have found them legitimately before on some servers but never in that number so i would guess they were scripted in.

as demon groover said, there legit but that number is a little over the top, there most likely the outcome of the recent duping exploit.
