Alt+tabbing issue

Im just wondering if anyone can help me fixing the problem everytime i alt+tab in game and tries to get back it says "recieving" for about 10-20seconds, i would appreciate any help!!

 

PC SPECS 

Powercolor 7770HD GHZ Edition

AMD FX4100 @3.6ghz

8GB of ram 1660 mhz speed ( not sure )

 

Settings in game 

 

Object detail > High
Texture Detail > High

Terrain Details > High

Video Memory > Default

Anistropic filtering > High

Anti-Aliasing = Disabled

ATOC=All trees

PPAA=FXAA LOW

HDR Quality = High

Shadow Detail = High

Post proc = Disabled

Vsync= Disabled

 

I tried putting 

-noPause in day z commander launch parameter but it doesnt do anything and still recieves the msg "Recieving" everytime alt+tabbing

i have these launch options in my shortcut for arma " -skipIntro -nosplash -noPause"

 

i think you only need the nopause one but i think that should fix it.

Indeed, -nopause causes ARMA 2 to continue rendering while alt + tabbed. Should fix your issue.

I tried putting it back but i still got the same issue :( btw my OS is windows8 64bit and my compatibility mode for my launcher is Windows XP (service pack 2) i tried not using compatibility mode but gives me fps issue ( but still says "Recieving" everytime alt tabbing  )

I believe you are mistaking alt+tab with alt+f4?

WinW=YOUR WIDTH OF MONITOR;

WinH=YOUR HEIGHT OF MONITOR;

WinDefH=HEIGHT MONITOR;

its working but are there anyways to turn my gamma up ??

I would really recommend windows 7 for gaming, just saying. May well fix your problem. In case you're not sure how to add launch params it's in DayZ commander, under settings > additional launch parameters.

As for your gamma, go to settings > graphics settings. There's a gamma and brightness slider there.

Oh and btw im having fps problem around 20-30 sometimes , well is it just normal for my setup ? or it could be windows 8 ?
