Hi guys!

We've recently started an Overwatch server and would love to see the player base grow as we have a LOT to offer compared to the servers.
Not only are you getting a nice, clean & fast server with low ping (especially for you guys in the UK), but we have all the latest Anti-hack tools so your DayZ experience is never broken! (I'll stake my Frank and Beans collection on it!)
We have all the up to date scripts and mods, plus our Dayz and Overwatch are always updated as soon as a new one is released to ensure you get a more fuller and fun experience.

We have 4 admins at the moment, all of whom are very friendly and there to help with any problems you might encounter from random glitches to any ideas you might have to add to our server.
That's right, YOU as the players get to decide exactly what you would like on the server!
At the moment, we have in place a pretty crude veto system but as soon as our player base expands we'll be sure to have our very own website up and running so the guys who would like to extend their stay on the server can get all the latest, up to date news on everything that's happening, chat with other members, use a properly implemented voting system and get to know the admins better, plus much more!

We have a lot of enthusiasm for this sever, so you're guaranteed to enjoy your stay here.

Along with the standard DayZ Overwatch, we've also implemented:

Dynamic Weather
Remove Clothes From Bodies
Remove Parts From Vehicles
SARGE AI Framework (For NPC Air and Land Patrols)
Self Blood Bag
Siphon Fuel
Vehicle Tow and Lift

Plus, we're looking into adding much, MUCH more, hopefully you guys can help us shape our DayZ Overwatch server into the perfect player server!

We're also adding weekly events to give you guys a chance to win some awesome custom loot/vehicles, along with hidden rare vehicles and weapons to find so you have more of an incentive to explore!
We're completely against hacking of any sort, so you'll never have to worry about having any problems with your time with us due to the Anti-Hack procedures we have in place, along with active admins to keep an extra careful eye out.

Our First Server Competition!

Recently the UKDayZOverwatch has opened their first server
(you can find info @ http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/145850-check-out-our-new-uk-dayz-overwatch-server/)
And over the past few days we've had some great feedback, so much so that we decided to hold our first event this Saturday!
All players have to do to enter this event is be on the server for at least an hour (to stop people from just dropping in for the sake of the prize only) and for our head count on the server to be 20+.
Once these requirements have been filled, we will announce live on server that the event is about to take place.
Everybody will have up to an hour to prepare themselves, and in that time will also get to decide which event takes place (a vote shall be taken and the most popular event type will be chosen).

At the moment, we have 3 main events in mind, though of course this may change depending on what you decide!

1. King of the Hill
2. Admin hunt
3. Death race

​The first to win, or last man standing depending on event type, or what other type of event is chosen will receive a copy of Battlefield 3 for Origin!

Since the server is based in the UK, admins will be on from 10.00am onwards UTC+ 00:00 Greenwich Mean Time.

I gave my copy of battlefield 3 away for free. All most everyone bought that humble bundle and battlefield 3 breaks down to a cost of about $0.95 that's a lot of work for a $1 prize.

It was just an idea to add a little more incentive to join in the event and give an actual prize. (albeit small for now until we build a big enough player base, then prizes will be more along the lines of new releases, among other things).
The reason we set the requirements for the event to start at 20+ people was to make the event more fun, as opposed to just 2 or 3 people spread across the map, people would be more inclined to team up or go solo and avoid the groups to take the winnings himself.
Adding a more engrossing experience in my opinion, giving more flexibility on how you want to play the game and removing the harsh baron wasteland feel of an empty server.

Again, it's mainly just a little prize instead of either just a server event or winning in game weapons/vehicles (which we will also do if that's what players want)
