Activated Music on by Accident....

Recommended Posts

And I must say, it reminds me of the times I was a noobsauce.

It makes you feel isolated, scared, frozen, and involved.

I had it up on audio level 15 and just the little sound track makes running kinda fun, but doesn't make the game less fun. I and many other people turned off the music because it gives you an advantage, but honestly, I think the music makes the game a little more fun.

You guys should try it. Keep music really low, just enough that you can hear a little bit, and just play.

Used to have Itunes running in the background with the sound low with my DayZ mix. (Dirty Harry, I want you, The Man comes Around, Taxman, Like a stone, Drink the blood of the Priest, Virus, Veridis Quo, Pennsylvania 6-5000, Thunderhorse, Stylo (for thous time I actually have a car), ect.)

Kinda had to stop when I started playing on servers that required you to be on teamspeak.

i always have had music on...first couple of months it was at default lvls.

now i run it at low-barely audible, but still there..

i could care less about giving up some "advantage" by striping the game of atmosphere..

I'm with you man...nothing like creeping along, feeling pretty good about how you're doing and then...SCREEEECH! That damn opening set of notes causes you to need a change of drawers! Music is off.

The music is rather shit and obnoxious. Definitely doesn't add to the atmosphere
