s0sa 0 Posted August 10, 2013 (edited) I bought the complete edition of ArmA II and then tried hacking on dayz and got banned, So i made a new steam account and bought it again, only before i bought it again i tried using a key stealer so i could avoid buying the game again and it messed up my registry. Now i'm trying to change it to my new key and i cant do that because my registry is messed up. I have to use a Key Changer because if I run it through steam it thinks my old banned key is still my key. Anyone know how to fix it so I can actually change the key? Steak and Potatoes 13480 Posted August 10, 2013 (edited) If its detecting the banned key that means you are reverting back to your old steam account. Stick to your new account only and it should not revert the keys and of course don't hack. Also could you please edit out the name of the key changer from your post. If this does not work go into your registry files and delete them then launch as administrator from the new steam account. I've tried deleting the registry folder completely and reinstalling the game on the new steam account and it still says I'm banned.

There is no need for either of those comments check the guid of your old key and compare it to your new key its quite probable that your new key has been stolen as the "key stealer" was in fact a key stealer and took both of your keys and your computer is still infected so any new keys you buy will also be stolen

boneboys 7988 Posted August 10, 2013 Make a new account, go to registry, remove all key data. Go to the Steam Forums or use Google.
