DayZ driving should be link this...

This.

It's a great game, I would prefer to see such mechanics in Arma 2 being implemented however though It will be just a wet dream. The amount of programming would be INSANELY difficult. However nothing is impossible. Except for putting a Lego brick inside a Lego brick.

Overall a possibility. You have my support.

I think it's a bit of an unrealistic expectation for the driving to reach this level but a simpler version of this might be possible. I quite like the physics engine this game uses for crashes but if we're gonna put out our fantasy driving mechanics we wished could be included in DayZ. I'd suggest: Spin Tires http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q37ZCVaZypo the terrain degradation is amazing.

I would love to see this, but there are so many issues. Latency, programming, performance..... I think it's awesome, and would be insanely cool to have in the game, but I don't think we'll ever be able to get past the "insanely cool" part.

The video seemed less about driving and more about crashing. Title should be crashing in dayz should be like this.

BeamNG is a soft body simulator, that's all it does and that's all it can do. Not simulate a whole world of gun ho survivors.

There is a reason this kind of physics is not in video games already (rigs of rods, it's precursor has existed for ages).

You can go as fast as you like on a straight, clear road but there should be more consequences than a simple tyre change and some engine parts if you fly off the road into a tree.

Dying i think would be good.
