proxified 0 Posted July 28, 2013 As the title says, i am paying for help in this issue. I have searched google high and low on a fix for this and cannot find anything that works. I have tried everything i can find, from editing the config files to tweaking every in game setting possible. NOTHING is working. Ive got an AMD phenom tripple core clocked to 2.4 ghz. I have played dayz before, and i had it working fine. but recently restored my computer back to factory settings. anyways, if anyone is up for the challenge. PM me on here, or add my on skype. Your help is greatly appreciated. skype -- chuck.greve
dulix11 731 Posted July 28, 2013 2.4GHz is your problem. That is painfully slow. :D
proxified 0 Posted July 28, 2013 How is that though, when i have played it before with absolutely no problem. Also, i can play arma 2 the actual game on full settings without a single bit of lag...
dulix11 731 Posted July 28, 2013 How many FPS were you getting when it was running OK?
OfficerRaymond 2064 Posted July 28, 2013 You said you had it clocked @ 2.4 but then restored it to factory? Why? Was it over heating? If not I'd suggest going back to those settings. Also, post other specs... GPU, exact CPU model... What settings are you running? Need more info
sausagekingofchicago 4711 Posted July 28, 2013 What OfficerRaymond said. Also, tell us what beta patch/mod versions you have etc you have.
John69 64 Posted July 28, 2013 (edited) Full computer spec would be nice, and youre gaming resolutions.Did youre comp run on some overclock settings before the rollback/factory restore on youre comp? Have you change anything on youre comp from the last time Dayz run well? Edited July 28, 2013 by John69

proxified 0 Posted July 28, 2013 and im not even using more than 40% cpu while im playing. so theirs no way possible that it can be maxed out.
OfficerRaymond 2064 Posted July 28, 2013 and im not even using more than 40% cpu while im playing. so theirs no way possible that it can be maxed out. While what you say may be true, Arma is a very strangely optimized game. It requires a high end CPU to run. I'm not good with anything related to AMD, but I can from that 2.1GHz that it isn't the best. Strange that you have been getting such low fps... Seems like everyone is having trouble with their fps lately, lol. Try playing with your settings and read this: http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/28160-guide-how-to-set-up-your-graphics-properly/Other than that, I can't do anything more. It's hard to troubleshoot when you don't have to PC in front of you.
