DropBearChick 1217 Posted July 27, 2013 Hello everyone with dayz SA coming out in anywere between today and probably 3 weeks is 1.7.7.2 the last update for the mod before the standalone alpha and if razor sees this is it the last update ever, I'm excited are u guys? Let me know in the comments. h3l1x 327 Posted July 27, 2013 Last update ever? Says who? There's a bunch of people who will keep playing the mod after the SA gets out. Remember it'll be an alpha version, no vehicles, bugs, etc. Also as far as I understand progression of the mod doesn't stop when SA becomes available, either in alpha, beta or whatever version. No longer being subject to whatever the DayZ-mod team thinks is good, and the changes they implement based on it, as I generally dislike most (not all) of the things they changed since they got in charge. Tents being useless, weapon balance changes, infection, ...Id rather have zombies be 3 hit kill than infectious like they are now... I guess you could say that in order to make the game less KOS and more zombie orientated, they made very... Friendly-skewed/uncreative/unpractical/unbalanced decissions. On the other hand, considering its still a mod, I can see they are rather limited on resources and engine lvl access, so its not like they actually COULD do anything more creative/better, I suppose...
