tent for make some ambush

so I find one tent, is some shit inside like wood for fire and empty can :|

 

 I make decide to enter this tent, I sit with gun point on door  :ph34r: next guy who coming for check this tent I make his head coming off with shotgun point blank to the face  :lol:

 

also, to make fair this shit, if some guys shoot on the tent is possible I am kill or injure for sure, but also stuff inside tent is maybe damage :thumbsup:

 

 

make so is not possible to enter some tent if there is already too much stuff, example make one player is take 40 slot, also make so is possible put one dead guy or one unconscious guy inside tent for pure fun :thumbsup: also make so if some guy wants to check tent is only possible if he look through the tent door, not so he check from side ways please :huh:

Ok, i'll be a lot less subtle and list the reasons why this idea wouldn't really work very well in game.

 

1. Due to the low player population densities of Dayz it will a long time for someone to stumble across an ambush tent, you could wait literally months for someone.

2. (carried on from number 1) Unless the tent is in an obvious spot.

3. (carried on from number2) Tents placed in obvious spots are obviously ambush tents and will get filled with bullet holes quickly.

4. If tents can contain players waiting to ambush no one will check tents anymore without first shooting them, the feature will become unused.

5. Many players consider someone sitting in a tent and using third person view to look out of the tent cheating.

6. Laying in wait and ambushing players is already way to easy in Dayz, the last thing the game needs is to make it easier to camp for players.

 

It's not a terrible idea but it just wouldn't really work in game as you have imagined, people would just avoid tents or just shoot them, you would end up waiting inside a tent to get killed. Maybe something like a booby trap on a tent would work but you would also need someway for other players to disarm a trap too.

#1. SA will be too much busy for sure :thumbsup:

#2 and #3 is true, but some guys don't learn too much fast, me I try hide in player tent for hide gear  ;)

#4 is why I say shoot on tent is make damage some gear, guy think again before shoot, he must look inside first if he want to see is nice gun? is player with nice gun? :o

#5 many guy say 3rd persom is cheat sytem every time is use, but is exist I am use for sure :thumbsup:

#6 make ambush is easy in real world also, is part of life, dayz should make something possible in rl possible in dayz if is not too much complicate

 

I agree is not best idea, but it add something possible in rl, make tent something more interest  and many bandit guys will die from try this, is just idea :P

Not sure what the debate is about really, it's already possible to lie in wait in a tent in the mod.

Just make sure you don't stand up or try to turn around while prone in there, its a quick way to get back to the beach.

never done it before but i would guess the safest way to get out without having your legs break is by breaking the tent
