nabehobby 13 Posted July 19, 2013 (edited) I think what this game needs is a covering system.something like in ghost recon, so when your'e under fire, you wont just crouch next to cover, but lean on it.plus it looks cool. -Gews- 7443 Posted July 19, 2013 Doesn't work well in first-person, also it would feel too gamey for me. It's something that belongs and works well in arcade shooters but not simulators.... If the standalone has ArmA 3's stance adjustment system, or something similar, that will fix a lot of "shooting from cover" problems. Unrelated note, I greatly resent the path Ghost Recon has taken since I played the very first one (2001) which had a very realistic and believable atmosphere, especially compared to most games of that era.

If the game is 1P only... If it has the ArmA 3 stance system it would be awesome, they should add a stance indicator for those who tend to forget and are too lazy to look down because it's unrealistic if you don't know you stance... The whole modern military fps genre has gone the wrong way, too imo. It's all about who has the best effects now and not who makes the better game... [click on me]Alpha_GhostReconFutureSoldier_Multiplayer_04.jpg No cowering behind covers please, even if you could do that IRL it should be enough to be close to the cover/concealment. It worked 13 years ago, it still works today.
