glovine 1 Posted July 7, 2013 Hey guys,Was travelling to Zub castle and saw this .. never seen this before..The three tents were not interact-able, but there were approximately three loot spawns (painkillers, revolver and some other minor gear), zombies were spawned in but weirdly they were all laying down until I approached them. Is this a random spawn thats part of the game? or has someone hacked this in? The zombies and loot is whats confusing if this is the case. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
applejaxc 2500 Posted July 7, 2013 I believe they're called "Abandoned survivor camps" or something silly like that, left by long-dead (or long-undead) "Survivors" (not actual players). Once you kill the first wave of zombies, get ready for a flood of new ones!I believe that these were introduced as part of the 'weapon crafting' feature, whereby you would have to make your own sights and attachments. The 'blueprint' for these attachments would only be found at these infected camps. However, the crafting idea wasn't really working well, so the devs shelved that, but left the camps in.The server in my signature (which uses a modded v1.7.7.1) has put them to good use - they now spawn high-grade military gear.
