Shizuka 0 Posted July 6, 2013 So yesterday I got Arma 2: Combined Operations in the mail and I started installing it ASAP. The first thing I noticed is that towards the end of each installation for both games (A2 + A2:OA) the installation would stop responding. It happened both times, and the first time it happened I closed the program and tried again but it still happened. In the end they installed fine, I installed Battleye, and then downloaded Dayz Commander. Then I updated Arma 2 and installed Dayz onto my laptop and tried to play. When I try to play I get this error message: Addon 'Ca_CommunityConfigurationProject_E' requires addon 'Ca_BAF'. I ignored the message and went in to play and kept getting kicked from servers. Eventually I tried to host my own session, but when I finally get to playing on a LAN session it only takes me to a view of the town and all I can do is exit it out or "skip" which does nothing. Currently I see no servers listed so I'm guessing that some maintenance is going on, but I'm completely hopeless. I've looked up everything I could think of and no one else seems to be having the same problem except another guy in another website who came to no solution. Do I need to go buy British Armed Forces now? Do I need to completely reinstall everything? I'm at a total loss and just want some help. I bought my game Retail Addition and am working on a HP Pavillion Dv6 laptop that has good memory and runs fine besides a little noisy fan. Can anyone help me, please? boneboys 7988 Posted July 6, 2013 Forget DayZ until you have the basic game running and can join vanilla ArmA2/CO servers.If you got it through thr post you may have to update the game using the offical patches.Game version should be 1.62 minimum.With recommended betea patch game version should read 1.62.103718Bottom right hand corner of main welcome page. AmberHelios 2071 Posted July 6, 2013 yeah that only shows the beta version start arma 2 and look in the bottom corner it should say 1.11 start arma2 oa and it should say 1.62 then you install the beta running the beta will always show 1.62.xxxxx as thats the beta version but it needs 1.62 to be there for the files to be compatible Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
