Invrlose 15 Posted July 2, 2013 When I try to enter a car my guy makes the motion to enter the car, the screen goes black as if I am going to enter the car and then my guy just respawns outside the car. It is extremely annoying. And its been doign it all day. How do I fix it, this has resulted in my death at least 5 times today. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Invrlose 15 Posted July 2, 2013 Is there AI on the server?Yes the server has AI enabled but like I said it only happens to me, I've been playing with friends all day and they can enter/exit vehicles fine. Steak and Potatoes 13480 Posted July 2, 2013 The AI may cause errors when you try to enter the vehicle as they tend to joy ride on some servers with advanced setup's. For this you can enter through the passenger seat then switch to driver whilst in the car and should fix entering. Issues exiting try the same thing switch to another seat then exit from it. My character makes the motion to enter the car, the screen goes black as if he entered the car and then instead of teleporting into the car he just appears outside again. There is no AI in 100 miles, and the car is empty except for me. Switching seats while in the car does nothing. Eject does not work either. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It does not happen to any of my friends. It only happens to me no matter what server we play on. Perhaps you should learn how to read you fucking nitwit. I didn't think that I had to put it like this but I guess I am going to have to rephrase everything because simpletons like yourself are unable to read.1) When I approach a car and click enter, my character makes the animation to enter. The screen goes black for a split second like normal, then my character appears outside the car again.2) The server experiences no lag, I only join servers with less than 50 ping.3) It can not be a server issue since it is happening to me on multiple servers.4) It does not happen to my friends.5) It has happened multiple times all in different circumstances.6) When it happens there are no AI taking up car slots.7) On the odd chance that I actually get in to a car, I can not get out, or switch seats. novogeek 253 Posted July 2, 2013 It is only happening to you ... so ergo the problem lies on your installation ... fix that. Use DayZ Commander to verify the DayZ Mod files ... use Steam to verify the game.
