SaveMeJebus 164 Posted June 28, 2013 (edited) In regard to SSD only effecting load times, that may be true with a lot of different games but this is one exception. Using the -winxp command line parameter and forcing dx9 my gpu is maxed out alot of the time and bottlenecking my system, using dx11 my cpu/disk speed is the bottleneck and my gpu is often left at 75% load. Now after I installed on a SSD I get an EASY 15 - 20 fps more than I did and I run everything in DX11. Also using the ssd and -winxp parameter makes my gpu bottleneck and I don't see much for performance gain using the ssd. andrewmont 91 Posted June 29, 2013 Your client runs at 5 fps? It is time for a new PCMy PC isn't that bad, it isn't great but Intel i3 540, Radeon 7770 and 4GB RAM with a 1TB hardrive surely should be able to run it at more than that. I know I need a new CPU but I can't afford one at the moment.
