applejaxc 2500 Posted June 26, 2013 In real life, if there's an annoying blade of grass in front of your scope, you take the sane course of action and flatten it to make your rifle useable, don't you?In real life, if you crush grass by laying on it, it doesn't spring back up when you stand.In real life, your feet are just as capable of grass crushing as your stomach and chest. So I suppose 3 changes:1: Wider radius of grass flattening when prone.2: Grass remains "Down" for a length of time, rather than popping back up when you stand.3: Walking flattens grass. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

NightmareGER 21 Posted June 26, 2013 Currently in the Mod you can't lie somewhere for a long time without having to move every few minutes to flatten the grass around your character.It pops up even without standing up. And that should be fixed or at least should be looked at.I mean i don't care if the grass springs back up if i stand up. But as long as i am lying somewhere the grass should stay down. Instead it should be "entire body that is touching the ground flattens grass" or something similar. I also believe that grass stays down when you stand.Walking flattening grass would also be pretty neat, but would cause unnessessary stress on a server. A pretty wide area gets flattened when you move proned.A wider flattened area wouldn't even make sense. The only grass that should get flattened is the grass your body is directly lying on. It would be more logical cus you could actually keep tracking the target even though there is no "high grass" around but normal grass/pure ground. Anyone knows any ArmA II mod for such a feature ?
