Fully auto hatchet?!

Today I was playing Dayz and somehow it seems my hatchet turned into "full auto". I would press the fire button and it would act like a machine gun! Has anyone ever had this happen to them before?

This happened to a friend of mine in DayZ as well. No clue what causes it, maybe pressing F when switching it from tool belt to weapon slot? I've got no clue, we didn't investigate it really, just messed around in Cherno.

This happened to me once, except with a machete.

I ran around murdering zombies, then I saw a player run into a firehouse and tried it on him, too. Turned out he had a full-auto machine gun so we both died, but it was fun while it lasted.

I tried. I put the hatchet back on my belt, switched, hit F.. nothing. :)

I've seen it happen before, also when you die while having this hachet equip it tells you who killed you and by friendly fire much like when someone kills you while your spawning in

It happened to me and I could actually destroy smaller buildings with it. Was fun going trrkrrrrrttt and then the building just fell :D

It also had massive downwards "recoil"
