LT_COUCH 3 Posted June 21, 2013 (edited) I woke up this morning, talked to a member of my squad, and we got ready to log in. Upon logging in we discovered that both of our characters were reset (Fresh spawns on the coast). Later another one of our squad members logged in and he too had a fresh spawn character. Were we the only ones, or was this a server wide thing? Please inform me or share your thoughts.Edit: Also probably a very important note, we reverted from 1.7.7.1 to 1.7.6.1 to join a server running that version. I don't know if that would have caused it or not but we went from 1.7.7.1 to 1.7.6.1 before and had no problems. We didn't have any of the newly introduced items in any of our inventories either, although i'm pretty sure even that only kicks for a script restriction. Try and find one with @hive in the addons.I know I didn't as I am using DayZ Commander and have the unofficial hive servers filtered out. I also joined 2 other public hive servers just to check and was still on the coast. I'm more than a noob with this mod I have played since August 2012 and can tell if i'm in a private hive or not. thelonewarrior 886 Posted June 21, 2013 This happened to me too, I didn't join a private hiveI played on the main hive for a bit and tried at least 10 servers and they logged me back into the same spot so it's definantly the public hiveI know it's reset as all my gear, hero skin and journal entries are gone such as kills 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Thankfully I was already on the coast when I had to make a new character, so I didn't really lose anything. Didn't lose my bandit skin. p4triot 207 Posted June 21, 2013 Happened to me a lot of times when I first started playing the mod. In fact, even with the filter for only public hives on DayZ Commander it happened so often we always used some of our squad members as a guinea pig, trying different servers looking for one fitting our fav config and that it also doesn't destroy our public hive char upon login in the first time :)My advice: find a server you like, and stick to it.
