Sutinen 635 Posted June 21, 2013 I saw the trailer and a huge horde of zombies climbed over a bus at hyper speed.. I wouldn't say so.

DemonGroover 8836 Posted June 21, 2013 As far as i know 28 Days Later was one of the first "zombie" films to have fast running infected.I loved WWZ the book - not convinced at all about the movie
boxman80 964 Posted June 21, 2013 (edited) As far as i know 28 Days Later was one of the first "zombie" films to have fast running infected.I loved WWZ the book - not convinced at all about the movieYea I have the book and wasnt so sure a movie version would work - theres just so much content in the book it couldnt possibly be made to fit a movie. A mini series would work a lot better. Having said that it doesnt look like the movie follows the book very closely any way. I may be wrong as I havent seen it yet. Ill check it out anyway as if nothing else it looks like a good action movie! That aside, anyone who loves a good zombie book should check out David Moody's "Autumn" series - they are by far the best zombie books Ive ever read, and Ive read loads! meshcarver 154 Posted June 21, 2013 ...just got back from watching WWZ... What a let down. I wouldn't even bother watching it again if it came on TV.This from someone who liked the book but is not a fan or something, it's just a weak film.

meshcarver 154 Posted June 21, 2013 ...also worth pointing out is you more or less see almost every best part in the trailer anyway- the stuff in between is just "padding".
BwobBwub 660 Posted June 21, 2013 The zombies in WWZ reminded me of the mutants from I Am Legend.

You need a big name like Brattifer Pitterrous the Third to tie the chapters together. It's a bit like with Game of Thrones, I really liked the book, but I'm happy that the tv show takes certain creative liberties, because it's another media and if I wanted the exact same story again, I'd be better served re-reading the books.
