ThatGuyPT 1 Posted June 18, 2013 (edited) Okay, I am so desperate, this afternoon I started streaming but I feel sad I can't stream good DayZ because it's running at 10-15 fps.Videos:Lagging on a server with lots of vehicles and people (1000+ vehicles, 30-40 people. middle of nowhere)::http://www.twitch.tv...mes/b/418408474300 Vehicles, 20 people online, medium size city:http://www.twitch.tv...mes/b/418443131Put at 9 minutesThis is fair enough, if I managed to get an average of 30 fps that would be amazingMy Specs:AMD Athlon II X3 3.3GHz4GB Ram DDR3AMD Radeon 7870 HD 2GB1TB Disk Western Digital Caviar Green 32MB 7200RpmThe server I was playing was a pvp chernarus server full of vehicles but still a friend of mine with a i3 2.2GHz and a 7770HD 1GB ran it smooth around 40fps while I with a tricore cpu at 3.3GHz and a 7870HD with 2GB of memory was running it like shit.This happens in all the servers but specifically on those who have a lot of vehicles and stuff like that, I think it's called AI, or on big cities where I lower insanely to like 50% of the amount I had.I am giving everything you ask me to fix this, I tried ingame graphic settings changes, ArmA2OA.cfg changes, startup parameters such as memory allocators, running DayZ on a Ramdisk, Overclocking my CPU to 3.8GHz, Overclocking my GPU, unlocking a 4th core on my CPU turning it into a AMD, launch parameters all failed.I defragged my computer, tried low quality building and stuff like that mods, tried a mod that lowers view distance to get extra fps, updated drivers, every damn thing failed.I can give you every info you need to help me fix this but please! arrowxd 9 Posted June 18, 2013 Hmm, ive heard that the ArmA engine doesnt go well with AMD cpu's, i have this problem but my build is a little less than yours. I get 30-40-50 fps and in elektro it can drop below to like 20fps but i aint bothered, im getting a p8z77 and a i5 3570k, the engine is heavily cpu dependednt and an ssd wont help. You also would need to make sure everything is up to date, software+hardware makes a huge difference, settings in the game, should all be within reasonable limits, such as VIDEO MEMORY(Default) Post Processing Effect(disabled) Vsync(disabled) Atoc/PPA (0/disbaled) make sure your screen 3d resolution and interface resolution are the same ask your desktop. Ensure that the correct settings are set inside your dayz commander.
