That was just to show off gameplay.

It is not single player.

Just it being a demo of current build you will not see any sort of multiplayer action.

Multiplayer PvP is a gigantic part of game.

It was stated as being single player at E3 as it was difficult to get a network running for it to be multiplayer. This was clearly mentioned in matt lightfoots playthrough

Well it was just a e3 demonstration.

Don't worry, it won't be possible to use the term single player and Dayz SA in the same sentence.

well atleast i hope so.

Multiplayer PvP is a very important part of the game.

That link is unnecessary. What the guy said was entirely correct.

Matt said that the demonstration was running locally, in "singleplayer" (Meaning, having no other players), because it was too difficult to get a stable connection during E3. (There is no room for cables in there. And the wireless network is hell with hundreds of connections up all the time.)

link was for the thought of a network being difficult for SA in general.

of course SA will have multiplayer....

I would like a DayZ armoury. That'd be pretty good, I'd like to be able to test out equipment and stuff.

Hello there

Personally I would like to be able to play offline, as long as the character is separate to the online entity.

I am still waiting for a single player.

I want a single player mode, I have no friends.

You don't need friends to play DayZ multiplayer. xD

I agree, not everyone has a stable internet connection, i used to be one of those people back a year ago on crappy 3g internet, it would just randomly stop working 5-6 hours a day, extremely frustrating pinging at BEST 200 on servers around me, and no im not some country bumpkin from idaho, im from michigan but our neighbors cut our cable and phone line while building a poll barn and there was no 4g in my area yet (i now have verizon 4g and pay 120$ for 30 gigabytes a month which is ridiculous to say the least but hey at least i can play games) and satellite internet is a fucking joke. Anyways going off topic here, singleplayer would be a great addition.
