This topic is going to be about CBL and the problems it has taken with it.

First of, I have never cheated, scripted or anything else that could be the reason for this or any other cbl ban. I even got a prev. cbl ban lifted because it was a faulty ban.

After that i thought, well okay. We all make mistakes, and the ban got lifted after hours of waiting and communicating with different admins from CBL.

A couple of weeks after my brother receives a ban aswell. First i made a ban appeal on CBL with my mail, because my brother more or less gave up after receiving the ban. He couldnt be asked to use all those hours to play a game he should be able to play anyways.

So yet again i try to post my ban on cbl and here. After days of waiting, I finally got a solution for the problem:

POST YOUR BAN ON THE SERVER FORUMS U WANT TO PLAY ON.

REALLY? IS THAT YOUR SOLUTION????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

First of i tried doing it on these forums:

Look like the issue not on our end , i find no one that able to remove ban from community.

So breaking point community cant undo the ban.

So what am i to do now? CBL is left as is, and no one wanna touch it, because maybe there MIGHT be a cheater on CBL - THERE MIGHT BE?!!?!??!?!?!?!

Nothing really, I just wanna enlighten people about this problem, and hopefully get some attention to this problem!

Now I leave it to you to decide if DayZ mod (arma II) is worth buying, because the people around the game doesnt seem to care about its "fans" in any way :).

Hello there

If Admins are using the out of date and abandoned CBL there's nothing that anyone, apart from those admins, can do.

Your only path of action is to contact them.

Remember though that many Admins dont really know what they are doing and just hand over CC details to get a server they claim they "run"

The CLB saga is an unfortunate state of affairs but you have been advised as to what to do.

If anyone else has any solutions, I'd like to hear 'em.

You aren't our customer either. DayZ is free mod for Arma 2.

Why do u think i wrote Arma II? People buy arma II so they can play DayZ - Not the other way around, and your statment doesnt change the fact that to play dayz, i have to buy a new copy of arma II to play.

And just because i didnt buy dayz you dont think its worth meantioning a HUGE problem used on most servers using dayz? Atleast all official servers are using CBL - Why use something thats clearly not working correct?

But for your sake i changed customer to fans instead.

So still no attention to this problem. Lets just hope they get hacking fix in the stand alone, or else ppl will just get random banned, and left with a digital game worth nothing.

Not to point fingers but if you were banned i'm sure there is a reason for it, I've played arma 2 since 2009, I've never ever had any ban problems from battle-eye/Breaking point...etc. another thing, raging about it on these forums isn't going to promote your frustration. You got banned, face it. you either downloaded some crap program that stole your's and your brothers cd-key or your both hackers. either way, it's your responsibility to ensure the security of your own digital game once you receive it, now if you bought the game and you haven't even used it, then ya, that's f'd up. but that's not the case here.

If you bought ArmA II just to play DayZ, that's not anyone associated with DayZ's problem, that is your decision. Try ACE/ACRE servers, they're fun.

ZGraphz: that's just a lot bull. First the only thing u are doing is pointing fingers. Secondly, this is about CBL not braeking point, nor battle eye.

It has been concludede several times that cbl made a lot of false positive bans, which is the reason they left the project. Yet a lot of servers still run with cbl ?

Just to make it clear, I have never hacked and will never hack in dayz. I'm the only one using my computer, and I haven't downloaded any malware that in ANY way could get my cdkey. I'm not that stupid, okay ?

I know saying this won't make it the truth, still this is the only way I can express how I feel mistreated.

Thedesigner: Dayz generated more then 300.000 sold units of arma 2 within the two first months of launch.... I don't think I'm the only one who bought arma 2, just to play Dayz.

However I have played a lot of insurgency in arma 2 and arma 3, and yes it is fun, but giving up and playing arma 2 instead of Dayz because of a bad piece of software (cbl) is not really an option.

To be honest, I don't care if I get unbanned or not anymore. The burden trying to convince people that you havent done anything wrong with out any chance of being heard in ANY case where you are cbl banned is just getting to big. You get banned in this game you clearly have to spend money yet again to play. Hardcore Both in-game and in real life.

People just need to know that cbl is shit, and using it is shit. Yes you might keep some hackers out of your server. Hackers who will eventually get a new cdkey and keep doing what they always have done. ,but on the cost of legitimate players.

I am in the same exact boat.

The reason I was even put on the list is because of a hacker who gave everybody weapons on the server I was playing on. When he spawned the weapons in my IP was tied to those weapons. I actually quit the day that happened (because hackers ruin the game), and when I returned to the game 4 months later, found myself on this PoS BS CBL.

It is really pathetic that this is not brought to the Day Z communities attention. Thanks for making this forum post.
