Cossilio 0 Posted June 12, 2013 In the patch notes it now says that the gun is banned, what does that mean for me when I spawn into a game with the new 1.7.7 patch? will it just be removed as if it was never there or am I destined to be banned upon spawning into the game? I am worried that I could be banned on joining a server with the new updates. Does anyone know what happens e.g. you had an M107/AS50 and you joined a server with the new patch? If you can help it will be very much appreciated + if it is going to punish me for spawning into the world with my M107 is there a way so that I can prevent myself from having the gun when I spawn? Once again any help would be very much appreciated.
wooly-back-jack 294 Posted June 12, 2013 I haven't played the new version yet but going off previous posts from other users it will either disappear or just have 0 damage

ThrobbinCorncob 8 Posted June 12, 2013 My buddy had one on the server I play on and he spawned with it but it did no damage. He killed a zombie with his pistol and hid the body with the M107 on it.

carbine781 (DayZ) 131 Posted June 12, 2013 Santa Clause will ride down on a rain deer, and throw pepper in your face and take your backpackHmm based on the fact that i randomly found a boat in the middle of a field yesterday, seems legit. Just another normal day in the DayZ world.
Devon206 (DayZ) 77 Posted June 17, 2013 I think it will do zero damage.
